Ford 350 Super Duty Truck

This truck was not as good as expected.. but it is better..thanks to renovations
Aluminum Truck Bed with Fold down sides and back...the one that came with the truck was sold on craigslist.  Drove to PA for this impressive wider bed.

we had to take the engine out before we could replace the oil pan which rusted.  The truck is less than 10 years old and it had to be replaced.  Intensive job and took over a week to complete!

In addition the truck has new tires, wheel wells, hubs, etc.
Hoping to keep this machine on the road for another decade - at the current market price of a new truck exceeding 45k - we have to make it last as long as we can!

Tractor Repair

There is nothing more important to our operations as a farm than the tractors. Tractors perform the critical functions of mowing and making hay needed in our horses diet, especially in winter, hauling away manure from cleaning the horse stalls, tilling fields, making our lives easier, and others in the area, by performing heavy duties. The fuel lines were clogged with thick algae after decades of use.
Our neighbors use horsepower for farming and getting here and there.

A Goodbye to a Good Trailer

We say Goodbye to our horse trailer that brought Gene's horses to the farm, and adopted our mustangs, Blackfoot and Blossom.  A total of 1500 miles logged on a $15,000 machine.  Not much bang for the buck.   Now, if we need horse transport, we'll have to hire it.
These are photos bid Adieu.

And away they go!  Looking good...Best wishes to the new owners.  We hope they make good use of it too!

This is a newly laid blue stone/slate entry.
